Team Brisbane on display at AIME
The Brisbane Business Events team and 11 member partners represented Queensland’s capital at the 25th Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME) from 21-22 February in Melbourne.
The Team Brisbane stand was one of the most frequented at the expo, with all exhibitors undertaking two full days of appointments with hosted buyers and trade visitors to attract meetings, events and incentives to the city.
Business Events General Manager Rob Nelson said the 11 Team Brisbane exhibitors comprised one of the most diverse groups of award-winning and emerging business event and incentive products to ever represent Australia’s New World City.
“AIME delegates heard about new event spaces and services from our established first-rate venues including a conventions centre holding the title of ‘world’s best’,” Mr Nelson said.
“Hosted buyers and visitors also had the opportunity to learn about two exciting new developments opening in early 2018 – the Howard Smith Wharves riverside precinct and the five-star Emporium Hotel Southpoint.
“Our city’s rich culture and quintessential Australian experiences will also be on show, with the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and Tangalooma Island Resort all offering new products and services.”
AIME attendees were further enticed to the Team Brisbane stand thanks to the aroma of DiBella coffee served to order by the Brisbane company’s top baristas, as well as the Sip on Science networking event featuring a mixologist from The Gresham bar and sponsored by TransLink.
