Australia TradeCoast is one of the best connected trade and industrial regions in the country.
However, the findings from the recent survey undertaken by Australia TradeCoast Limited reinforced the need to continually improve the region's connectivity especially by road, in order to maintain ATC's competitive advantage now and into the future.
The world-class road infrastructure that has recently been completed within the ATC region includes:
- The upgraded Gateway Motorway and Southern Cross Way which includes the Sir Leo Heilscher Bridges (previously known as the Gateway Bridge)
- The Airport Flyover and fast diamond intersection which has replaced the old Airport Roundabout
- The Moreton Drive and Nancy-Bird Way (Northern Access Road Project).
- The Airport Link tunnel and motorway.
The upgrade of Kingsford Smith Drive, from Harvey Street to Theodore Street, is expected to be completed in 2019. For more information, visit the Kingsford Smith Drive Upgrade website.
