Sea you at the Moreton Bay Food and Wine Festival!
If you’re a foodie and love the iconic Moreton Bay bug then you won’t want to miss the Moreton Bay Food and Wine Festival on the Redcliffe Parade waterfront on September 7-8. The two-day festival will have food trucks, market stalls, cooking workshops and pop-up craft beer bars. Along with the free festival precinct, many of the foreshore restaurants and operators will be offering special menus, events and workshops. It’s the signature event of the Tastes of Moreton Bay, a month-long celebration of the regions offerings that kicked off on August 23. Get your taste buds ready!
Prost! Oktoberfest Brisbane is coming!
Raise your stein and welcome back Australia’s largest German Festival, Oktoberfest Brisbane, held at the Brisbane Showgrounds. Bringing together all lovers of German fun, food and culture over two wunderbar weekends in October (11-13 & 18-20), Oktoberfest transforms Brisbane into an authentic German town festival. Brisbane’s Oktoberfest is in the top 10 best Oktoberfests in the world – outside of Germany of course. Stop by the Gaumenschmaus Tent for some of the most delicious traditional German food at the Festival. The fully catered VIP tables in the Bayrisches Eck (Bavarian Corner) are already proving popular. Tickets are on sale so pick your days, dust off your Dirndl and Lederhosen, as 2019 promises to be an incredible spectacle, as Oktoberfest Brisbane celebrates its 12th festival!
