Brisbane has long been known as a hub for live music and an incubator for nationally and internationally-acclaimed acts.

Brisbane Marketing in partnership with Tourism and Events Queensland, Arts Queensland and industry body Qmusic are working together to undertake a body of work focusing on developing a music city strategy for Brisbane.

By developing a music tourism strategy, we are seeking to deliver a vibrant, sustainable music economy across the city and build Brisbane’s brand as a music capital.
